About me

Eye catching artworks and obscure things that do stuff

I’m Tim. I live on Dartmoor, England and create bespoke, unique things one at a time. I like to bring together technology, data, and make interesting things that make life more fun.

After training as a mechanical engineer I worked in the energy industry, specifically on increasing renewable energy deployment. As these were office jobs, I needed a creative outlet for making and fixing things.

A bunch of projects later, I’ve found a new obsession: designing and building interactive maps for people to keep track of their obsessions, be it bagging Monroe’s or visiting every privately owned steam railway in the UK.

I make one map at a time for general sale. As soon as it’s ready I notify my mailing list first.

Other projects have included converting 1990’s tank commander headsets to bluetooth, a private telephone system using vintage phones and a porcelain skull that tells me whether the US stock market is hot or cold today.
